Announcing - Jen In A Million Photography!!

Today's the day for my big announcement!  I'm thrilled to reintroduce myself to you today, because Jennifer Sharon Photography is becoming Jen In A Million Photography, effective today!

It has been so exciting making this all happen behind the scenes, let me tell you.  Thanks to the amazing talents of Kim at MadiLu Designs, I have a fantastic new logo, and all that goes with that - new business cards, brochures, packaging and more.

And with a new brand identity has come the time for a snazzy new blogsite - my blog and website all in one wonderful place - and so I say goodbye to this Blogger blog.  It has served me well, and will remain in place to show my past work, and to point anyone who stops by to my new home at http://www.jeninamillion.com/.  Please join me!  And while you're at it, make certain you come and "Like" Jen In A Million's new Facebook page as well.  This is where you'll get up to the minute announcements of special offers, and events!

I guess that's it!  My final Blogger post as Jennifer Sharon Photography.  I would LOVE some housewarming comments over at Jen In A Million, if you have a moment!

All My Love...
Jen

Sneak Peek for the Pearson ladies! | Snohomish Family Photographer

Thanks to the beautiful sunny weekend we just had, I was at last able to meet up with this gorgeous mom and daughter for some morning photos on the beach.  The light was as beautiful as they were, and the morning air was exhilarating - this was a super fun session.  I'm sharing a few early favorites for now, check them out!

Caught a few BFF photos at the end of the session, had to share this cute one too...

I'm booking into May and June right now, so contact me soon for some portraits in the spring sun!

Miller-Eagan Family | Kirkland Family Photographer

This family session was a fun one, especially since the weather gave us a break when we needed it.  It's not always easy to schedule 3 busy families together, so there was no rescheduling this one for rain - which was in the forecast.  We ended up with a beautiful sunny day, if a bit windy.

This session had been given as a Christmas gift to Mom/Grandma, so I made sure she got some great ones not only with the whole family, but with each of the grandkids one on one, and I hope they are treasured!

Here are just a few from our Kirkland waterfront session:

Baby E is 4 months old! | Edmonds Children's Photographer

Yes, I'm alive!  I've been absent from blog-land, but keeping busy.  Today, I share a few favorites from my session with little Miss E - she is my very first baby-planner!  This was her 4 month session, and what a cutie-pie!  I'm so excited to do the rest of her sessions, and watch her grow - that's the best part of offering first year plans, I think.  Getting to see these little ones several times during that first year when they change SO quickly.

The other thing that has been keeping me busy, I'm not quite ready to share about yet, but I'm excited.  Stay tuned in the weeks ahead for big announcements!

And here's Miss E!:

Sweet baby Carmen | Seattle Newborn Photographer

I'm excited to share these sweet newborn photos!  I treasure every opportunity to do a newborn session, because I learn so much each time, and I would love to have the chance to do more.  Here are just a few so far.  More to come soon, Jen and Mike - your little peanut is super cute!

Sneak Peek for Emma | Shoreline Senior Photographer

For my first session of 2012, I met with Emma at one of her personal favorite parks, in Shoreline.  It was a beautiful crisp morning, no rain to worry about, and even the wind stayed out of our way, until we dared walk around the bluff to try for some photos with a view of the water and mountains.

But it was a really fun start to the year, and I'm so happy with how the session turned out!  Here are some early favorites:

S Family Sneak Peek! | Edmonds Family Photographer

I was so glad to be able to do this session for this family over the holidays.  It was one of those "seize the moment" kind of things, with family visiting for the holidays - including from England!

I'm sharing just a few for now, but there will be more to come!

My favorite thing about this photo is remembering the dad saying "well that felt good!"

Happy New Year!

First Post of 2012! | Seattle Portrait Photographer

So, I may not be ready to post my resolutions for the new year, but I didn't want that to keep me from posting a few holiday highlights to start the year off.  I promise, the resolutions are percolating, and I will shout them out soon.  I need the accountabiltity, I'm sure everyone can relate!

I had a number of mini sessions for the holidays that were so fun - family sessions, and some studio mini sessions with some of my mom's daycare babes!

After a whole month of no blog posts (shameful gasp!), I have several lined up in the days to come, but for now, here is a smattering of my favorites from the holiday season.

Happy New Year to you all!

PS - just a reminder that my 2012 print prices will take effect next week, so this is your last chance to order prints at my current prices!

Martyn Sneak Peek! | Seattle Maternity Photographer

I had such fun with this maternity session on the University of Washington campus.  Jen and Mike were so great to work with, and we had a great time on campus in the late fall sun - despite the 35 degree temp!

Here are just a few from our session for now:

Denali's Sneak Peek | Snohomish Senior Photographer

Denali and I snuck in her senior session on what was potentially one of the last dry and sunny days of fall.  It was great, actually, as I looked at theweatherchannel.com and gave her and her mom 2 potential dates, they grabbed the first one and rescheduled other plans so we could have this chance.

So here are just a few so far, Denali, of our late afternoon session in Snohomish.  Thanks for an enjoyable session!
