I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with Jamie Neilsen, wedding and portrait photographer extraordinaire, this past winter.  It was a really good experience, and gave me a lot of insight into shooting weddings.  I hope to do a lot more second shooting as this summer's wedding season heats up!

Meet Dickens!

I had to share a few shots of my mom's new yorkie puppy, Dickens.  So named for 3 reasons:  1) he was a Christmas puppy, 2) Yorkies are English, as was his namesake, and 3) he's "cute as the dickens" wherever that phrase came from. 

Anyway - I did not put "Snohomish Pet Photographer" in the title of this blog post, because I'm not entirely sure I want people finding me via such a search.  If you think toddlers are squirrelly, try getting a 3 lb fireball of puppy to sit still for 1/125th of a second.  Hahaha....

Still - he is awfully cute, so enjoy!

I wanted to share a few more from my session with Kendall, she was really so fun to work with!  Kendall is one of my toddler casting call models, and as I hoped, I learned a few more "things I'll do differently next time", which is great!
